In an interview given to India TV, Irfan had told that he has changed his name from Irfan Khan to just Irfan and the reason for this was that he was stopped many times in America due to the Khan surname. He said that due to the name of Irrfan Khan being written in his passport, he has been stopped many times in America for investigation. Talking about films, Irrfan did Bollywood films like ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, ‘Piku’, ‘Hindi Medium’ and ‘Haider’. Apart from Hindi films, he has also done 14 international movies.
